What is the ebiscon integration platform?

A platform that connects applications, systems and data sources and automates the processes between them. It sits between your systems rather than inside them: every system keeps its job, and the platform takes over handover, translation and monitoring of the data that travels between them. It is one way to integrate, not a condition for it, and purpose-built interfaces we build just as well.

Is the platform middleware or orchestration?

Both, depending on what is needed. As middleware it translates and hands over data between systems. As orchestration it drives processes across several systems, with order, conditions and a way to resume after a failure. Once multi-tenancy and business logic of its own come into play, it is no longer plain middleware but an application layer that carries processes. Plain middleware projects we take on as well, whether or not our platform is part of them.

How many systems can be connected?

Over 100 systems from ERP, CRM and PIM are ready to go, plus shop, payment and shipping systems and databases. Anything without a connector is attached over its API or over file transfers, and where necessary we build the interface. New systems get added without touching the flows that already run.

Do you need developers to automate a process?

No. Processes are configured rather than programmed, so someone who knows the processes can change them without knowing the programming language. Custom logic stays available for special cases, but it is not a precondition for putting an automation into operation.

When does the platform pay off, and when a single interface?

A single purpose-built interface is the right choice for one clearly bounded connection that rarely changes, and we build it that way. The platform earns its place through number and movement: from around three connections, with frequent changes, or when monitoring, retries and adjustments belong in one place instead of five.

What does the integration platform cost?

The price follows the scope and the number of connected systems and is quoted on request. What drives it is less the platform than the starting point: how many systems take part, how clean their data is and how many processes are to be automated at the start.

How are the data flows monitored?

Every operation is logged and can be traced individually in the monitoring. What you see is not only that a transfer failed but which record was affected and why. Whatever does not go through waits and is delivered later instead of disappearing quietly.

What happens when a connected system changes?

What gets adjusted is the mapping in the platform, not the code in every system involved. A changed field in the ERP or a version jump in the shop therefore stays one piece of work in one place. That is exactly the reason to keep the translation between systems outside the systems.
