A vibe coding audit checks an application built with AI before it goes live or keeps growing. It covers source code, security, data protection, architecture, scalability and infrastructure. ebiscon delivers a report with clear priorities, documents the application and, if you want, approves every further pull request or takes over operation and development. Your code stays your code.

Built fast. What now?
With Lovable, Cursor or Claude Code, business teams now build in a few weeks what used to need a project of its own. That is a real achievement. After the build, though, different questions come up.
Gartner expects that by 2028 around 30 percent of software engineering teams will face material capacity strain from maintaining applications like these.
What we hear in conversations
The app works. But before we give it to customers, someone has to look at it.
We take the application through six gates and tell you in writing what has to be done before go-live and what can wait.
We are happy to keep building ourselves. We just need a second pair of eyes.
You keep working as you do now. Every pull request goes through our review before it is merged. It is approved or sent back with concrete findings.
AI made it quick. Now I code all day instead of doing my actual job.
We take over operation, maintenance and, if you want, further development. The person who built it gets their own work back.
Gates
Have AI-generated code reviewed: six gates
Every vibe coding audit runs through the same six gates. That keeps results comparable, whether we review a whole application or a single pull request.
Security
Does only the right person get in, and see only what they should?
- Login and roles
- Secrets and API keys
- Database access rules, for example Row Level Security in Supabase
- Dependencies
- OWASP Top 10
Data protection and GDPR
Do you know where your users' data lives and who processes it?
- Storage and server location
- Data processing agreements
- Data flows to AI providers
- Deletion concept
- Measures under Art. 32 GDPR
Architecture and scalability
Will the application carry ten times the users?
- Data model
- Behaviour under load
- Cost as you grow
- Separation of tenants and environments
Infrastructure and operation
Does it keep running when something goes wrong?
- Hosting
- Deployment
- Backups
- Monitoring
- Separate test and production environments
Code quality and tests
Can someone other than the builder keep developing it?
- Structure
- Duplication
- Test coverage
- Maintainability
Documentation
Can it be handed over with what is written down?
- Architecture
- Data model
- Interfaces
- Operating manual
Approved
Every gate ends with a rating and a concrete next step.
- GreenFine. Nothing to do.
- YellowShould be fixed, but does not block the release.
- RedBlocks the release. Has to be fixed before go-live.
Services
As deep as you need
You decide what you do yourselves and what we take over. Each level works on its own, and you can go deeper or step back at any time.
Vibe coding audit
We take your application through all six gates once. You get a report with every finding, how serious it is and a concrete proposal for what to do, sorted by urgency. We walk through the results with you in a call, so your team knows where to start. Then you decide: fix it yourselves, fix it with us or hand it over to us. The report is yours, even if you never work with anyone afterwards.
Technical documentation after the fact
Applications built with AI rarely come with documentation. The knowledge sits in the head of the person who built them and in a long chat history. We write the documentation from the code: architecture, data model, interfaces and an operating manual for day-to-day work. If documentation exists, we check that it matches the code. The application no longer depends on one person, and every handover becomes plannable, whether internal or to us.
Pull request review and approval
Your team keeps building as before, with the tools it knows. Every pull request goes through the six gates before it is merged. We approve it or send it back with concrete findings, visible right in the pull request. ebiscon is set up as a required reviewer in your repository, with a response time we agree with you. You keep your pace and your ownership, and every change carries a second signature.
Take over, run and maintain a vibe-coded app
When the application costs more time than it saves, we take over operation. That means hosting in Germany, monitoring, backups, updates and security patches, with clear responsibilities when something fails. Your team reports wishes and bugs, and we take care of them. The person who built it can get back to their own work and is still the one who knows best what it should do.
Further development
We develop the application further, together with your team or for you. New features are built on the existing codebase. We only propose a rebuild when the audit shows it costs less than changing what is there, and then we explain why.
Built with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, Replit, v0 or another tool? The review depends neither on the tool nor on a particular programming language.
Your code stays your code
The code lives in your repository and stays there.
Reports and documentation are yours from day one.
Every level can be ended without any dependency on us.
To be honest: you don't always need us.
For simple test apps, you can keep going on your own for now.
Just keep building if your solution
- stays an internal demo
- never sees real data
- can be deleted tomorrow
Then scalability and data protection don't matter.
Let's talk as soon as
- customers log in
- staff data sits inside
- a team relies on it every day
Then it is no longer about whether the solution works. It is about whether it still works tomorrow, whether the data is where it belongs, and who answers for it.
Book a callFrequently asked questions about the vibe coding audit
What is a vibe coding audit?
A vibe coding audit is a review of an application that was built fully or partly with AI tools such as Lovable, Cursor or Claude Code. It covers source code, security, data protection, architecture, scalability, infrastructure and documentation. The result is a report with prioritised findings and concrete next steps, showing whether and under which conditions the application can go live.
How much does a vibe coding audit cost?
That depends mostly on the size and structure of the application. A small internal tool is reviewed faster than a platform with customer access and several interfaces. In a free first call we look at your application together, and then we send you a fixed offer.
How long does an audit take?
That also depends on the size. We agree the schedule in the first call, so you know in advance when the report arrives. If a release date is set, we plan the review around it and bring forward the points that could block the release.
What access does ebiscon need?
For the audit, we only need read access to the code, for example via GitHub, as well as to the Supabase project. As a rule, we do not access production data. Should we nevertheless come into contact with personal data, we will conclude a data processing agreement (DPA) in advance.
Is my Lovable app GDPR compliant?
That depends on how the application is built, not on the tool. What matters is where the data is stored, which services process it, whether data processing agreements are in place and whether access to the data is protected. That is exactly what we check at the data protection gate, and we tell you what is missing.
4 more questionsShow fewer
Can we keep developing ourselves while ebiscon reviews?
Yes, that is the most common case. Your team keeps building, and we review every pull request before it is merged and approve it or send it back with findings. You keep the pace and the ownership, and every change gets a second look.
Isn't an automated scanner enough?
Scanners are a good first step, and we use them ourselves. They find known patterns, such as exposed keys. What they don't see is whether the business logic reveals data in the wrong place, whether the architecture can carry growth and whether operation works when it matters. That takes people who understand the whole picture.
What happens if the audit finds serious problems?
Then the report states which problems block a release and how to fix them. Most of the time that works on the existing codebase. Your team can fix the points itself, we can take them over, or we split the work. We only recommend a rebuild when it is clearly cheaper.
Which tools and technologies does ebiscon work with?
All of them. Whether your application was built with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, Replit or v0 makes no difference to the review, and it is not tied to a programming language either. With AI support we also review applications that combine several stacks.
